Travis Scott’s Astroworld Tickets Go on Sale Wednesday

It’s Travis Scott’s 29th birthday, so, of course, he’s dropped dates for Astroworld. What’s even better? It’s now two days. Yes, two whole freakin’ days.

After a long hiatus (thanks, Covid), the Astroworld Festival, which Scott founded back in 2018 with an inaugural lineup of Post Malone, Lil Wayne, and Young Thug, is making its triumphant return to NRG November 5–6.

We don’t know yet who will be performing—a lineup will be announced closer to the fest, however Scott will be headlining. And while we can’t confirm it, we expect he’ll be performing music from his upcoming new album, Utopia, which is expected to drop in October. Plus, he’s never let us down in terms of lineup before; Astroworld in 2019 featured Rosalia, Pharrell Williams, Da Baby, and Megan Thee Stallion, among others.

Combine that knowledge with this year’s theme of “Open Your Eyes To A Whole New Universe,” and we’re expecting something out of this world.

Scott grew up in Missouri City, and throughout his career has made his love of the original AstroWorld and dream of resurrecting the Astrodome well known. He shocked the world when he launched his Astroworld Festival three years ago, but it quickly grew into a massive hit. The 2019 fest drew a crowd of 50,000, and though last year, as we all know, was cancelled, but last November Scott comforted his fans by announcing Astroworld would return with a vengeance in 2021.

General admission tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CT Wednesday, May 5. Considering the first two shows sold out before the lineup was announced, you might want to get your credit cards ready, folks.

In the meantime, check out the hype trailer for this year’s fest below.
