Houston Ballet Announces Full In Person 2021 Season

After a year of only “essential” businesses being open, the arts are making a comeback. The Houston Ballet has announced that tickets for the new season will be available starting late August.

The season’s lineup has been listed. Including the ultimate holiday classic The Nutcracker, all being performed at the Wortham Theater.

New full-season subscriptions for the Spring are on sale NOW starting at just $95! If you are a returning subscriber the Houston Ballet has reserved their first show exclusively for you as a sign of gratitude for your loyalty.

Margaret Alkek Williams Jubilee of Dance

A celebration of talent and principal dancer Melody Mennites, who’s been with the company for 20 years

When: September 30- October 3, 2021

The Nutcracker

A holiday classic. Great for all ages. Story of Clara’s magical journey to the kingdom of sweets. Snowflakes, sword fights, and dancing dolls.

Sparkling and shimmering Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds

Madame Butterly

A love story ab0ut a beautiful Geisha and a handsome American

Pretty things

Playful atmosphere, set to music by David Bowie.

When: May 20- May 29, 2022

Originals

Is a collaborative piece featuring the orchestra.

When: June 2- June 12, 2022

Sylvia

A strong mythological heroine and her love for a mortal shepherd.

At select performances, the Houston Ballet does offer student discounts ($15), seniors discounts (19 or 45 based on preferred seating), and a 25% discount for veterans and their immediate families.
